Job DescriptionGeneral Responsibilities:Exciting opportunity to partner with and provide support to engineering and project management staff on current and future projects. Join our Materials department in Lenexa, KS to assist with project delivery for construction materials testing and Special Inspection services on engineering and construction projects in the Kansas City region. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of engineering technicians, construction inspectors, engineers, geologists, and project professionals to deliver a great client experience on each project. Preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills, be very detail-oriented, and be customer service focused.Essential Roles and Responsibilities:Assist project managers with budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, project setup, documents and deliverables for assigned projectsReceive and process requests for proposalsSupport preparation and delivery of cost estimates, project proposals, and contractsAssist with review of construction documents and prepare internal documents with testing requirements for assigned projectsSubmit contracts for review and support negotiation process to achieve signed contracts for all projectsMay dispatch Technicians to project sites based on technician skill set, certifications, location, project, and priority.Assist with project research and documentation in customer relationship management (CRM) systemAssist Department Manager in many aspects of Materials department tasks/activitiesFollow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning.
