Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: Emergency Room - St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities:Under the general supervision and direction of the Director or designee, utilize various computer programs to compose, transcribe and type a variety of documents for the Director and other Patient Services leadership staff including correspondence, meeting minutes, agendas, memos, directives and annual reports. Answer phone, screen calls, take and relay messages, make notations and resolve a variety of inquiries, informational requests, problems, questions, discrepancies, etc., within scope of own responsibilities. Receive, screen and direct visitors. Receive, open, prioritize and distribute mail. Interact with other senior members of the management and medical staff, including client physician offices. Work with staff and management throughout the organization in support of various operating efforts such as IT, Legal, HR and MarketingQualifications:
  • An Associates Degree in a related field or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of various software programs (e.g. Word and Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
  • Must possess high level interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Three (3) years of related experience required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range:USD $17.32 - USD $29.12 /Hr.
