Job Description:
Description Begert Stainless is seeking an Accounting and Administrative Clerk to work on a full-time, permanent basis. A great candidate will be experienced in HR, handling accounts payable, and accounts receivable as well as processing payroll. They will also be willing and able to communicate with the Accountant, General Manager and President on issues and improvements that they believe will help the company. Responsibilities •Proform human resource functions, including maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, onboarding new hires, and managing personnel files •Process necessary insurance documentation •Implement/ document orientation of new employees •Assist in the management of payroll and employee forms •Document, keep up to date and follow financial policies and guidelines •Provide timely and professional email correspondence •Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times •Conduct basic accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and financial records, and coordinating with the finance department as necessary •Demonstrate the qualities of being Humble, Hungry, and Smart by fostering a positive work environment, being open to learning and growth, and displaying emotional intelligence in interactions with colleagues and stakeholders •Facilitate communication between our customers and team to ensure customer satisfaction •Plan office events and schedule arrangements for travel if necessary •Plan community events to market the company and increase brand awareness •Create and implement data entry protocols to streamline processes and increase productivity QualificationsEducation and Experience : •Associate's (2-year) degree in Accounting or business-related field or high school diploma (or GED) •Two (2) to five (5) years of office or bookkeeping experience. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience including A/R and A/P •Minimum of 2 years HR experience Preferred Bookkeeping and Accounting: •Strong bookkeeping skills and an understanding of cash flow and company financial reports: Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet •Experience using bookkeeping software Quickbooks Mathematical Skills : •Strong math skills. •Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages. •Able to interpret financial reports and analyze performance against business plans and industry benchmarks. Computer Skills : •Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Office, Word and Excel
