Applications will be reviewed periodically based on available positions.Job DescriptionAll administrative aid positions involve providing general administrative support to an academic or administrative unit. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures regarding office services, College protocols, and administrative requirements.
- Answering phones, opening and routing mail, creating correspondence, flyers, letters syllabi, tests, and/or reports, proofing and editing documents.
- Acting as the initial point of contact for office, directing calls and walk-ins to appropriate staff or departments.
- Managing and maintaining schedules and calendars.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies through various vendors.
- Hiring, training, and supervising student assistants.
- Maintains manual and/or automated financial, accounting, personnel, and other administrative and management files and records and ensuring confidentiality where appropriate.
- Attending meetings, taking notes and distributing information as appropriate.
- Performing calculations and data entry.
- Managing web page(s) administrative area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of progressively responsible experience providing office administrative support involving customer service.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Appropriate use of spelling, grammar, writing styles and formats.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Ability to organize work and timely perform assignments.
