Villa Restaurant Group is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team at LaGuardia Airport. The Administrative Assistant will play a pivotal role as the first point of contact for new hires, facilitating the on-boarding process and ensuring compliance with Port Authority badging requirements. The successful candidate will also assist in scheduling appointments for airport fingerprinting, SIDA, and badge renewals, while handling various administrative tasks delegated by the Terminal Director. What You'll Need:
Onboarding New Team Members: - Serve as the primary contact for new hires at LGA airport.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including paperwork completion and orientation sessions.
Port Authority Badging: - Become proficient as an Issuance Officer for Port Authority badging process.
- Ensure compliance with badging requirements and assist new hires in obtaining necessary credentials.
Appointment Scheduling: - Contact potential candidates to arrange airport fingerprint, SIDA, and badge renewal appointments.
- Maintain an organized schedule to ensure efficient processing of appointments.
Administrative Tasks: - Assist the Terminal Director with various administrative duties, including but not limited to:
- Store customer service audits.
- Price check POS vs. Menus.
- Weekly special signage updates.
- Order changes from Brinks.
- Handling weekly HR issues as needed.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the airport or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with Port Authority badging process is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
