Hourly Wage: $15.74/Regular/Full-Time
Provides general clerical support services for all program personnel. Nature of work requires emphasis on maintaining confidentiality of program records and activities. Employee is responsible to answer, direct, or forward general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Greets clients/visitors/suppliers to YNBHS in a professional and friendly manner.
Examples of Work Performed:
Develops and maintains work records and schedules as requested by Clinical Supervisor.
Serves as receptionist for program. Receives all visitors, answers the telephone, records and relays messages.
Typing of correspondence from rough drafts for the counseling staff and Special Projects Unit staff upon request and makes photocopies as required.
Maintains an appointment book, scheduling client follow-up appointments with Therapists. Coordinates Therapists schedule with planned meetings, trainings, or leave upon request of therapist.
Recording minutes for all-staff meetings and other meetings as requested by Program Director, Clinical Supervisor, and Program Director.
Ability to maintain files and knowledge of filing principles and procedure; file information alphabetically, numerically and chronologically.
Provide instructions with patients for intake screenings.
Provide full range of secretarial duties to Clinical Supervisor including taking notes of meetings by request.
Prepares payroll actions for performance evaluations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of general administrative policies, procedures and practices of the Yakama Nation and federal government.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to demonstrate dependable work attendance.
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as calculator, keyboard, copier, scan, and fax.
Knowledge and ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to establish and maintain rapport with co-workers.
Ability to deal with public in a pleasant and courteous manner at all times in a stressful situations.
Provide instruction to patients for intake screenings through new EHR system.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of at least two years experience as an Office Aide III.
Must maintain strict confidentiality.
Required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and ability to ascertain Yakama Nation Driving permit.
