GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Supports the goals of Corporate and Community Education (CCE) and the college in outreach to businesses and the community related to training and non-credit educational programming in the areas of: (a) accelerated, short-term training, (b) lifelong learning, (c) CTE training, and (d) workforce and corporate training. As directed by the CCE Administrative Manager, assists in the course set-up, student enrollment, student tracking and completions for classes supporting these areas. Duties include, but are not limited to student registrations, marketing material development, client and student contact management, ordering and tracking of training supplies and materials, scheduling of instructors, and awarding student certifications.

DUTIES:

* Assists in updating weekly CCE email that lists upcoming Lifelong Learning programs.

* Sets up registration for classes on the events platform and adds to promotions spreadsheet.

* Provides assistance with American Heart Association card requests.

* Supports the CCE student registration process including background checks, class assignments, and payments.

* Keeps inventory and orders books and online modules for students.

* Tracks student completion of necessary program requirements such as vaccinations or drug screenings.

* Follows up with students regarding class payment.

* Assists with program completion steps including certification testing and completion records.

* Attends events as needed both in-person and virtual.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Associate degree preferred

* One (1) to three (3) years of experience performing administrative work.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong attention to detail, time management skills and prioritization.

* Experienced in word processing. Experience with software office including information databases, electronic spreadsheets, and communications tools.

* Strong interpersonal and team skills with sensitivity to a diverse student population.

* Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy with students, faculty, and outside organizational representatives.

* Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
