Overview

The Administrative Assistant provides assistance to the Associate Director, including all aspects of administrative support.

Responsibilities

* Maintains confidential information including financial information.

* Types minutes, reports, etc. for the Associate Director as required.

* Provides support to various assigned committees by taking and distributing minutes, organizing and directing committees.

* Maintains filing system.

* Plans, coordinates and implements special events.

* Performs accounting clerical duties and special reporting.

* Responsible for monthly distribution of Resident Satisfaction Surveys, and entering of responses and data received.

* Assists with special projects as required.

* Maintains the confidentiality of all resident, staff and organization information.

Requirements

* An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or at least six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety riles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* The ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
