Administrative Asst. - Export DepartmentWe are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our team managers and members, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our team's general administrative activities. Must have at least 3 years of experience in business administration.Responsibilities
- Write and distribute emails
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Order office supplies
- Maintain contact lists
- Data Entry/Order Entry
- Regulatory Documents
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Admin Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including printer, copier, calculator, and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Working knowledge and skill in creating spreadsheets in Excel
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must have working knowledge in handling courier shipments (including document preparation)
- Self-Starter
- Fast learner
- High School degree; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant
- Export Documentation experience a plus
- Second language a plus
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
