Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be organized, thorough, industrious.
  • Must be able to take initiative in order to problem solve.
  • Must have knowledge of school procedures.
  • Must have advanced computer office software experience including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite programs. Knowledge of PowerSchool, Skyward, and other district software a plus.
  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment, perform data entry, maintain records and scheduling.
  • Must demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact constructively with others.
  • Student-centered with strong communication, correspondence and customer service skills for work with students, staff, community and parents.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality.
  • Model civil demeanor when working with staff, students, families, and community members.
  • Must be detail oriented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not all inclusive)
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • May assist with transportation needs and learning transportation software.
  • May produce transcripts for various legal purposes.
  • Create and complete various reports of student records.
  • May maintain inventories of various school properties.
  • May be responsible for allocating funds that are appropriated in the budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • May require working knowledge of District accounting and student management programs.
  • May handle cash and balance the cash register. Advanced data entry.
  • May perform various higher level accounting and payroll procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Assist Administration organizing special events.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.
  • Ability to write professional communications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
  • Ability to complete mathematical operations and apply concepts of basic mathematics.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to maintain current job skills as directed, especially in technology-related activities.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with an awareness of school district requirements and School Board policies.
