This individual must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English and serves as receptionist and information clerk. She/he must be able to operate office equipment, printers, MS Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, and MS Outlook, etc.The candidate fulfilling these qualifications will work directly with the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor and must maintain the church vision and mission and provide support in the Administrative Department in matters concerning congregation members and office projects. The candidate should also have a grasp of the inner functioning processes required to create a smooth-running office and be able to support same. The candidate must be a team player and a self-starter and must possess a whatever it takes to get the job done attitude. She/he must also exercise discretion, confidentiality, generosity and professionalism in all dealings with office staff, and church members.QualificationsThe Administrative Assistant will typically have the following qualifications:
- The applicant will have full command of both Spanish and English and be able to speak, read and write in both languages with excellence.
- The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 1-year experience as an administrative assistant.
- Minimum education: The ideal applicant will have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in an area of Business Management.
- The candidate will have a solid Bible background and must understand the SMCC doctrinal statement and be able to articulate where the church stands on basic issues.
- Typing - 30 WPM with accuracy.
