Performs office work directly related to the property section and general business operations which are complex in nature and are not limited to the following; reviewing and/or preparing correspondence, handling information requests, interpreting administrative and operating policies and procedures, recommending improvements in administrative procedures as needed, supporting the coordination of office moves and cubicle modifications projects, receiving supply store requests from customers, and supporting the property section training program for inventory custodians and custodian delegates. Assists Property manager, property director and inventory agents with processing and maintaining Vocational Rehabilitation property surplus paperwork and filing systems.Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the coordination of administrative tasks and assignments which are complex in nature which include, but may not be limited to: assisting the property manager, surplus property manager, and inventory agents with processing and maintaining Vocational Rehabilitation property surplus paperwork and filing systems, supporting the coordination of Vocational Rehabilitation office moves and cubicle modifications projects, receiving supply store requests from Vocational Rehabilitation customers, and supporting the property section training program for Vocational Rehabilitation inventory custodians and custodian delegates. Assist General Services answer incoming calls. The employee is expected to schedule and coordinate office meetings, ensure timely procurement of goods and services through My Florida Market Place, ensure goods and services are received, and payments are processed in a timely manner. Employee prepares correspondence, maintains office filing system and supplies, and prepares and disseminates materials in support of training and other activities. The incumbent will assist the property director and other general services property section staff and will provide administrative support for bureau functions.
