Job Description:

Are you a dynamic, tech-savvy, administrative professional who is extremely organized and loves to plan events? Then we have the role for you! As an Administrative Assistant II, you will plan and provide logistical support for corporate events and meetings, to include curating vendor partnerships, negotiating with vendors, anticipating long-term planning needs, and effectively executing meetings, events, and all associated actions. You will be responsible for conducting research, arranging site visits, tracking real-time spending, training support personnel, and developing comprehensive event plans and budgets using project management techniques. You will prepare and submit event budgets, expense reports and purchase requisitions, maintain vendor contact information, and archive historical metrics. You will have the responsibility of coordinating incoming seating requests and re-assignments/moves as well as auditing setting assignments. In addition, you will actively contribute to the completion of various administrative projects and goals.

Must-haves:

* A.A. (or equivalent degree) and 3 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma and 4 years of relevant work experience

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required

* General knowledge of administrative practices, to include preparing expense reports and purchase requisitions, and coordinating meetings, events and travel

* Proven to be extremely dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to multi-task in a very fast paced-environment

* Ability to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, and contribute to projects and goals

* Comprehensive knowledge and experience in reviewing and executing meeting and event vendor contracts.

* Small and large-scale corporate event planning and execution experience, typically ranging from 10- 2000 attendees.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments simultaneously while being able to switch from one project to another seamlessly

* Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with the highest level of professionalism

* Excellent time management and organizational skills while paying attention to details and adhering to deadlines

* Flexibility and willingness to take the initiative on a variety of projects to support the team

* Ability to travel

* The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

* Experience with Microsoft collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint

* Experience with Office Space software

* Experience using the online project management tool Smartsheet

* Experience with security and safety protocols

* Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $25.24 - $34.71. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
