Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPerforms technical and complex administrative support involving application of a working understanding of the functions and procedures of CCAA Finance, Procurement and Property Administration Departments. Sets up assignments to conform to Authority calendars and business cycles, then sequences work/project steps to conform to expected deadlines and/or timelines. Schedules appointments and arranges meetings that involve the CCAA and external participation. Prepares schedules and informs participants, confirming dates and times. Maintains a variety of records, including those of a confidential, private, legal, or sensitive nature and assists in the preparation of departmental/divisional reports by gathering and summarizing information from a variety of sources.Prepares from rough drafts or instructions a variety of materials such as letters, memoranda, reports, and statistical data. Composes original correspondence and forms on routine department matters. Works with department representatives to prepare narrative explanations of account activity and variance analyses, if requested.As directed, assist with preparing financial forecasts and financing proposals. Access databases for information. Using established methods, may track revenues, expenditures, etc., connected with projects or obligations. Maintains a variety of records, including those of a confidential, private, legal, or sensitive nature and assists in the preparation of departmental/divisional reports by gathering and summarizing information from a variety of sources.Maintains approved budgets and transaction records, including those for projects. Prepares periodic reports, updating the Chief Financial Officer of budget status. Receives telephone calls and visitors, screening callers, handling routine matters, providing information, or routing calls as necessary.Receives, processes, and may reconcile documents for expenditures. Prepares requisitions and claims for reimbursement. May compute contractual and other fees and charges. Orders merchandise and services from pre-approved purchase orders and within authorized spending limits.Performs other related duties as required. RequirementsRequires the level of formal education typically acquired by completion of post high school vocational course work or technical training. Requires mildly extensive vocational experience. Involves knowledge and comprehension of techniques, information, methods, procedures, which are related to specific jobs, and which can be acquired from some combination of vocational training, apprentice training, on the job training, or essential experience in lower-level jobs during a period of minimum 2 years. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Salary Description $20.83 - $26.04 per hour
