This full-time position (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm) is responsible for managing the front desk and supporting daily business functions and operations. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to the campus community through email, phone, and in-person interactions in a timely and professional manner. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and five years of office administration or project management experience including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and five years of office administration or project management experience including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level.
  • Experience in managing an office setting.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in higher education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Below are some of the job duties associated with this position -
  • Make Travel Arrangements in Concur Travel for guests, faculty candidates, and prospective students.
  • Book hotel Reservations for visitors.
  • Reimburse travel and business expenses for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Set up a new vendor profile for guests via PaymentWorks
  • Request keys and building access for students and faculty
  • Submit work order requests via AIM for Shipping packages via eSHIPGlobal for our labs
  • Reserve conference rooms and schedule classrooms when needed
  • Submit department requisitions to workflow
