Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe administrative assistant is responsible to the CEO of Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union, and to the Cetera Investment Advisors and Representatives and works cooperatively with a variety of other personnel and board/committee members when appropriate. Maintains effective working relationships with a variety of personnel at varied levels of authority and in varied departments throughout the institution. May have contact outside Mayo as job duties dictate.Position Overview: Applies professional office expertise, exercising initiative and proficient organizational skills to perform a wide variety of office/clerical duties in support of all credit union member investment activities. This position will be in a fast paced, time-sensitive brokerage sales environment where one must anticipate and carry out independent actions necessary to provide competent and professional secretarial support to meet the needs of the investment representatives, management, administrators, board and committee members, coworkers and members. Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling questions, phone calls, appointments, etc., of principals.RequirementsMinimum Education and/or Experience Required: A high school diploma or equivalent AND two years of experience working in an administrative assistant role. Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: Must possess proficiency on technical office equipment, including word processing and other applications, printers, phone system, duplicating machine, and/or any other job specific office technology. Requires strong organizational skills, superior clerical aptitude including the office practices of data input, filing, handling mail, preparation of charts, spreadsheets, reports, agendas and member communication, spreadsheets/graphs/charts/slides/overheads, Internet/Intranet applications and/or other job specific documents. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail and be a highly accurate professional. Must maintain strict confidentiality of information and must exhibit good human relations skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and professionally to build rapport with others at all levels of responsibility. Must be adaptable/flexible in a changing work environment, which requires upgrading of skills. Salary Description Starting pay range: $21-24 per hour
