The Chatham County Manager's Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant IV to provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, event coordination, report preparation, and project assistance. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree and at least four years of relevant experience.
* Provide administrative support for all positions within the County Manager's Office.
* Schedule meetings for managers and coordinate logistics.
* Stock breakroom and office supplies.
* Prepare the County Manager's report for Board of Commissioners' Meetings.
* Coordinate parade participation, to include ordering trolley, submitting applications, and assisting the Board of Commissioners on parade day.
* Assist with Civil Rights Museum, Priscilla Thomas Annex, and Summer Bonanza projects.
* Enter work order requests for the department into the Chatham Asset Management System (CAMS).
* Coordinate the Chatham County Government annual food drive.
* Serve as a backup administrator for the MyChatham/QAlert.
* Assist in organizing special events, such as groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and other events.
* Provide backup support for processing department travel requests.
* Assist with audio/visual set-up for meetings.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related field, and
* At least four (4) years of progressively responsible executive secretarial, administrative, or office management experience; or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
* Selected candidates may be required to complete clerical testing as part of the interview process.
