Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant for Protect Environmental is responsible for providing administrative support in various functions in business operations. The incumbent is key in ensuring operational efficiency by proactively addressing administrative issues and challenges as they arise. It is pertinent the Administrative Coordinator is highly organized and assures accuracy of office records, files, resource data, and other responsibilities which are assigned. $21 - $23 an hour Essential Functions - Performs a variety of secretarial duties in support of the business operation activities and staff. - Performs typing, mailing, faxing, FedExing, scanning, or photocopying various correspondence or materials as assigned. - Establishes and maintains a wide variety of documents, manuals, and materials. - Aids in the planning and implementation of company events. - Assists in responding to inquiries from contractors/subcontractors and redirecting to the appropriate personnel when necessary. - Assists with making and reviewing employee travel arrangements, expense claims, receipts, data entry and company correspondence. - Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects with short turnaround times and capable of shifting priorities. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others. - Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills are required. - General administrative skills such as: scheduling, calendar management, public records management, database management, and the planning and preparation of meetings, speaking engagements, and trips. - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Physical Demands and Work Environment - This job operates primarily in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds.
