Description Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the System Operations VP with departmental functions.
- Preparing weekly management reports.
- Coordinate intern and EDRP logistics, including arranging for safety gear, tours, recruiting events, and presentations.
- Manage scheduling for all floor conference rooms.
- Manage workspace assignments for all floor personnel.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual expense budgets and managing quarterly budget reports.
- Finding efficient, professional, cost effective methods of assisting Directors in day-to-day activities.
- Professional attitude and handling of inquiries, both verbally and in writing.
- Accuracy, excellent communication skills and attention to detail is imperative.
- Procure office supplies; maintain files, document meetings, and manage travel arrangements.
- Financial and accounting duties such as: purchase requisitions and purchase orders, manage accounts payable, invoice processing, monthly expense tracking; and timesheet and payroll management.
- Other duties such as: answering phone, mail distribution, and office equipment management.
- Performing duties safely and in compliance with all company, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintaining proficiency in job functions and applicable software programs.
- Performing other related tasks as requested or assigned.
Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Professional demeanor and communication skills - ability to interact positively with executives, management, front line employees, and prospective employee candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.Experience with general data table creation with ability to use formulas (sum, VLOOKUP, min, max, average, etc.), create charts, and apply pivot tables is preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required.Experience in creating presentations that include data, charts and pictures is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Outlook is required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a support and/or administrative assistant role is preferred.
- Proven experience typing and proofreading company related documents.
- The ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
- Previous experience in the energy industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to respond as needed to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
