Little Cruisers, a NAEYC accredited child care center located at the Port of Miami is looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our team!
This position provides general administrative and clerical support to the LittleCruisers Child Care Center, program, staff and parents. The Administrative Assistant must possess a caring and nurturing attitude towards children. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Respond to telephone and in-person inquires.
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed timely and accurately including: applications, enrollment forms, setting up new student accounts, recording daily attendance and enrollment roster, and posting checks and deposits on a daily basis.
* Prepare and submit monthly claims for reimbursement.
* File maintenance and document control system.
* Send weekly and monthly reminders to parents.
* Complete and process school applications.

Skills/Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; and two (2) years of experience in a preschool office setting or administrative support position requiring independent thinking and diverse support skills. Child development knowledge preferred.
* Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
* Proficiency in using the computer and other office equipment.
* Must possess excellent customer service skills, organizational and inter-personal skills. Must be able to function effectively as support to a team.
* Ability to handle all situations in a professional manner.
* Ability to understand written instructions and procedures and prepare required documents.
* Must have reliable transportation.
