- Ensure the inventory at the DSS location warehouse matches the inventory in the accounting software
- After items are verified by the shipping / receiving person, acknowledge receipt of the items within the accounting software
- Ensure open orders are reviewed and items shipped to customers
- Assist with vehicle install schedule
- Update the tracking spreadsheet that cross references vehicle orders with the DSS sales order, maintain the schedule vehicle ETAs, ensure all necessary equipment for installs are received prior to vehicle arrival
- Coordinate with Install Manager the scheduling of the actual install based on equipment and vehicle arrival
- Order entry and tracking
- Assist General Manager with order entry and tracking
- Input phone orders into the system and track their status
- Special projects and assist with daily management reports
- Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs.
- Meet or exceed the new business sales goals.
- Complete required Customer Service Agreements (unaltered), reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
- Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
- Regularly meet with General Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- Provides word processing support for the branch
- Files accounting work, correspondence, and other records.
- Provides backup support for any accounting or service clerical position on an as-needed basis.
- Composes and prepares routine correspondence.
- Greets visitors, ascertains the nature of their business, and conducts them to the appropriate person.
- Orders/purchases supplies.
- Maintains office equipment (i.e., copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.).
