Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). The Vaccine Policy Unit within ACIP, is part of the Influenza Division of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD). This position includes evaluation of scientific literature to inform decisions related to influenza vaccine policy, consultation with outside experts and preparing agendas, meetings and presentations. The position will be working at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA. The CDC is the nation's premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency. The Administrative Assistant will report to Goldbelt Professional Services leadership to ensure the execution of timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.

This is a hybrid position requiring that the employee be on-site in Atlanta, Georgia 1 to 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

* Development and maintenance of a filing system for materials related to evidence reviews (e.g., literature searches, retrieved papers, and files reflecting decisions made about retrieved literature).

* Assistance with conducting work group teleconferences, including scheduling, management of calendar invitations, management of admission of persons to calls and maintenance of the attendance lists for each call.

* Taking meeting notes.

* Preparing documents/printing for meetings.

* Assist team members with searching and obtaining articles from CDC library.

* Communicate periodically with external partners on the ACIP workgroup.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

* Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

* Meeting logistics and scheduling.

* Familiarity with Microsoft software.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Associates degree or equivalent and relevant experience.

* Minimum 5+ years administrative experience.

* Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.

* Highly detailed and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
