- Supervises all reception activities in the Office of Housing and residence Life (visits, phone calls, etc.)
- Updates information databases as needed.
- Maintains adequate level of office and equipment supplies.
- Maintains office budget; prepares monthly budget summaries; prepares budget records, contracts, and deposits.
- Maintains appropriate forms for all student needs (including all online housing forms and biweekly Desk Assistant time sheets), assists with information and execution.
- Arranges travel reservations.
- Renews memberships/subscriptions for associations.
- Provides support for other Student Affairs offices as needed.
- Assists in conference housing billing.
- Processes damage charges and fines.
- Markets programs and manages social media for department.
- Coordinates departmental purchasing and deliveries; prepares purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Assists with Card Access to the residence halls.
- Recruit, train and supervise 10-20 Desk Assistants; oversees weekly scheduling of Desk Assistants.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
- High school diploma or GED required. Some college or technical school coursework and/or practical knowledge required.
Experience:
- Minimum one year related work experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
- Proficiency with database software preferred
- Proficiency with Banner preferred
- Management of social media platforms preferred
