Summary:Our client located downtown Madison is looking for a sharp Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temp to hire basis. In this role you will be responsible for performing administrative support activities related to preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling meetings, handling travel arrangements, and processing a wide variety of documents and applications related to the area of assignment.This position operates Monday-Friday between 8:00am-4:30pm paying $22+/hr. based on experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Prepare mailings, distribute mail, faxes and other correspondence.
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets and application systems.
- Monitor supplies and place supply orders when needed.
- Schedule meetings and appointments.
- Prepare meeting materials and prepare meeting rooms.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years of administrative experience in an office required.
- Knowledge of databases.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Database management knowledge, proofreading, and editing skills.
