Job Description
AECOM is seeking an organized, efficient junior level Administrative Assistant for a project near our Millsboro, DE location to support our Highway & Bridges team. This role will be an on-site position, in the office at our client's site.
The Administrative Assistant in this role:
+ Provides administrative support to one or more managers within the group, office or business unit including some of or all of the following: prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents, schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements, and/or maintains inventory of office supplies.
+ Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
+ Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Uses Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other programs to accomplish work.
More Specifically, the duties of the Administrative Assistant will include, but are not limited to:
+ Answering and directing phone calls
+ Organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings
+ Maintaining contact lists
+ Producing and distributing correspondence memos and letters
+ Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
+ Developing and maintaining filing systems
+ Preparing reports and tracking in Excel spreadsheets
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School Diploma and two (2) years of administrative experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Demonstrated experience with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 years of administrative experience that includes answering phone calls, organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings and drafting reports and correspondence
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $20.00/hour - $25.00/hour.
