This position reports directly to the Safety Manager.This role will help secure the organization's position as an industry leader in safety, and enable the organization to retain and develop clients, as well as quality associates, in part, because of the organization's focus on safety. This position will assist the Safety Manager to ensure that our company safety program is followed for the sake of our associates, subcontractors, and the overall project. - Coordinate and maintain associate training and safety certifications including new associate orientation, insurance claim processing, and other insurance-related matters.
- Coordination of insurance recordkeeping and project-related insurance and bonding.
- Prepare site-specific safety plans prior to the start of the projects.
- Audit company and subcontractor safety-related policies, program, and procedures for compliance and effectiveness. May include other Quality Assurance responsibilities, as directed.
- Maintain inventory of safety-related supplies and equipment and order as needed.
- Participate in Safety Leadership Team meetings. Record and prepare minutes for distribution.
- Maintain HAZCOM SDS resources and ensure compliance.
- Promote a positive safety culture through continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties, as required.

Education and Experience
- High School degree or the equivalent
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Building construction experience preferred but not required.
