Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob DescriptionWe are looking for an administrative assistant for our Human Resources department in Cincinnati, Ohio. The administrative assistant position will be responsible for providing strong administrative support to the Human Resources Manager, as well as efficiently communicating with and supporting the needs of our customers. The right person will have a strong ability to multi-task, organize, be punctual and dependable, and perform independently as needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure accuracy.
- Process MVR and check for new hires and job site requirements.
- Ensure drug screens have been completed for new hires.
- Process I-9 documentation through E-verify for compliance.
- Upload documents into OnBase.
- Ensure all Federal and State posters are compliant.
- Process and file unemployment claims.
- Track the process of vacation and sick time off requests daily/monthly.
- Provide quality administrative support, including filing, producing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and other support as needed.
- Perform effectively and confidently, occasionally without supervision.
Essential Skills- Administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience within a mechanical contracting firm is a plus, but not required.
- Ability and willingness to learn other software applications as required.
- Team-player attitude and professional appearance.
Work EnvironmentThe position will be in an office environment, with working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
