ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Facilitates internal patient transfers
- Facilitates approved provider schedule changes in electronic medical record
- Manages AMION and TeleMed for FM and FMOB provider schedules
- Monitors physicians schedule, adjusts for vacation times and updates pod mapping
- Provides coverage for the front desk and HUC buckets as needed
- Reviews and collates invoices for review
- Coordinates the management of deceased patient accounts
- Coordinates management of inactivated patient accounts
- Distributes other practice management reports as directed by the Department Chief and Practice Manager
- Provides general set up for staff meetings
- Takes Staff meeting minutes
- Initiates IT and Facility help desk tickets and tracks progress until issue is resolved
- All other projects as assigned by the Practice Manager and/or Department Chief
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in Business or related field preferred
- Previous administrative experience in a medical office environment
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and webmail
- Good professional judgment skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
- Ability to foster an enhanced team environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and plan work independently
