Major Food Group is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Parm!

We want to “disrupt” the traditional hospitality models by taking care of our employees, guests and our community.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join Parm's fast-growing team and assist with administrative duties and restaurant operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to restaurant managers as required by helping them organize and manage delivery schedules through the Delivery Service platform.
  • Provide detailed responses to frequently asked questions about the restaurants.
  • Check the delivery status of active orders and provide updates to guests.
  • Understand and utilize Parm's Point-of-Sale system. This will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to efficiently processing the addition of items to orders, accurately accepting and processing payments from customers, completing receipt requests, and ensuring that all sales transactions are entered into the system correctly and without errors.
  • Liaise between various teams to ensure all sales are accounted for correctly.
  • Follow department and company procedures to ensure all items are communicated to appropriate internal & external teams.
  • Actively engage in and possess a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of catering operations, including the coordination and management of food and beverage services, as well as the ability to effectively utilize and integrate third-party software applications and tools that support these operations.
  • Maintain and constantly update order information in our software programs to generate accurate customer orders.
  • Participate in meetings with chefs and managers to communicate all order details.
  • Provide assistance with special projects as assigned, adhering to deadlines.
  • Act as an ambassador to Major Food Group Culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Full time availability, Tuesday - Saturday required
  • Must have a strong desire to “Be the Best.”
  • Must have a successful sales track record in direct sales and an ability to develop targeted prospect databases.
  • 1+ years of event sales/coordination, department administrative assistance, and/or client services.
  • Background in the high-end hospitality sector is preferred.
  • An enthusiastic, team-oriented, willingness to learn & positive attitude are essential.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with high-profile and high-net-worth clients.
  • Needs to be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft/Google Suites. Toast, Tripleseat, and Adobe InDesign are preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work from Corporate Offices four days per week.
