We seek to build creative, informative, and inspiring products for a variety of audiences on Broadway and beyond. Broadway Brands is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to our team and contribute to the success of our ventures. This role will assist in organizing information for all of our products, assist in keeping our products up to date, and correspond with customers and company partners.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organizing multiple digital inboxes of press releases, invitations, advertising requests, basic customer service emails, and either responding and/or routing appropriately.
  • Calendar management, both for internal team calendars, and for products including the Briefing, Broadway News, and Broadway Theater District.
  • Preliminary Briefing news culling. formatting, and prep work based on incoming press releases, news feeds, social feeds, etc.
  • Making key updates and uploads to Broadway Theater District App and Broadway Business.
  • Social media posting for Broadway News and other future projects.
  • Administrative tasks including research projects, invoice sending, finance itemizing and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Data collection and tracking for Broadway News and Briefing audiences.

  • Thorough and detail-oriented, particularly in areas of research and problem-solving.
  • Passion for theater, specifically Broadway, a must.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Theater or Business administration. (Preferred).
  • At least 6 months working or interning within the Broadway industry (Preferred).
Communication Skills
  • Ability to gracefully respond to common inquiries, requests, and notes from customers, partners, and members of the industry.
  • Ability to effectively correspond with customers, partners, and co-workers.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data reports.
Critical Thinking
  • Ability to digest large amounts of information and organize into a legible report for the average reader.
  • Must be detailed and organized.
