Job Description:

Are you proficient in Microsoft Office Suite? Are you able to efficiently coordinate and prioritize administrative tasks to aid in program management? Do you aim to help others in your line of work? If you answered YES to these questions, The Center for Specialized Services is looking for you! We are seeking an administrative assistant for our Medical Services department to manage our adaptive equipment grants, coordinate services to help individuals with disabilities, and assist with meticulous organization of information and data that accompanies said grants.

TITLE: Administrative Assistant

JOB CLASSIFICATION: 40 hours/week, non-exempt

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

JOB PURPOSE: Manage administrative portion of adaptive equipment grant. Manage communication with vendors and case managers. Manage lending library and follow-up after equipment use.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage administrative portion of adaptive equipment grant.

* Provide consumer and/or family education or services as needed.

* Coordinates with vendors and families to set up installation of equipment

* Manage communication with vendors for adaptive equipment.

* Complete documentation and billing as required.

* Maintain communication with case managers regarding consumer needs and updates.

* Follow all personnel policies and procedures.

* Maintain clean and orderly environment.

* Familiarize self with and follow facility and department policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required. Must have prior experience in administrative positions and tasks. MANDT crisis intervention, CPR certification, and first aid training required (these trainings can be provided upon hire along with required agency trainings). Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience in brain injury rehabilitation or working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
