J & J Staffing Resources is looking for an Administrative/Payroll Assistant to join our beautiful corporate offices in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is a full-time, Temp to Hire position 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration in the Payroll Department and will assist with the collective efforts of processing payroll, as well as providing additional administrative support to other departments.
Essential Duties:
- Collect, calculate, verify and process manual time-sheets through payroll system
- Process electronic timecards through payroll system
- Assist with New Hire onboarding including processing 8850's
- Complete written verification of employment and unemployment claims
- Communicating with Vendors and Corporate tenants
- Preparing conference rooms for corporate events
- Distributing mail and packages to designated offices
- Ordering office supplies
- Reporting and invoicing as needed
- Provided backup to additional staff/departments as needed
- Using various internal software to accomplish daily tasks
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, organized and detail oriented with solid problem solving skills.
- Must be professional, responsible and able to manage tasks in a fast paced environment
- Highly proficient with data entry
- Excels under pressure and driven to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and open to learning new systems
