Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley is a non-profit organization seeking an experienced part-time (with potential opportunity for a full-time role). Administrative Assistant to work closely with the CEO assisting her with all Board and Committee functions which includes scheduling and collecting all documents for board and committee meetings, attend and type meeting minutes and disburse as appropriate.
This is a great supplemental income opportunity to those looking for additional administrative experience. We offer partial paid holidays on days regularly worked as well as paid time off when accrued.
In order to be considered, candidate must:
1. Have at least three-five years of board experience.
2. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Be extremely organized.
4. Be able to work flexible hours which will include at least one evening a month and possible weekend hours if needed. Typical work week would be an average of 16 hours with more hours the week prior to the Board meeting.
5. Be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
6. Be able to manage presentations, documentation and record keeping and serve as a scribe for the Board of Directors and Committees.
7. Neatly prepare agendas, minutes and other required material for Board and committee meetings.
8. Send out meeting reminders and confirm Quorum for meetings.
9. Uphold a professional demeaner and be able to work with other team members as needed for board meeting material.
10. Set up and clean up space for board and committee meetings.
