Description
NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position will perform a wide variety of general administrative tasks related to the management of departmental operations or specialized functions such as training or contract compliance.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center, at 1256 Penn Avenue North Suite 5100, Minneapolis, MN 55411 and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position, you will:
* Draft and compose various letters, correspondence and reports.
* Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
* Manage, maintain and file personnel records and trainings.
* Ensure and document valid licenses and certifications for clinical staff.
* Manage special projects.
* Maintain compliance and quality management plans.
* Transcribe and distribute minutes of meeting.
* Assist and coordinate in preparation of major events.
* Investigate and recommend action regarding complaints about services, operations, policies or procedures.
* Engage in outreach events and meetings.
* Serve on department and organization wide committees.
Need to have:
* One of the following:
* Four years or more of experience in general administrative work relating to the support of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position. (General administrative work is defined as the administration and/or management of programs, policies, and/or budgets).
* Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, health administration or other field appropriate to the position.

* Working in a clinical office setting.
* Assisting in budget analysis and preparation.
* Scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining calendars.
* Using Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word).
* Ability to:
* Work effectively and communicate with individuals from a variety of cultural and lifestyle backgrounds in a respectful and non-judgmental manner.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the organization.
* Handle a number of different problems and assignments simultaneously.
* Follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) security and privacy compliance rules.
* Effective attention to detail, good organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines and requests utilizing appropriate time management skills.
