Today, Pfizer Oncology has an industry-leading pipeline that includes the combined legacy Pfizer and Seagen portfolio across breast, genitourinary (GU), hematology-oncology and thoracic therapeutic areas.ROLE SUMMARY:The primary purpose of this position will be to provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the US Precision Medicine Lung Franchise Lead and to support the overall Franchise business. The Administrative Assistant will report to the US Precision Medicine Lung Franchise Lead. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to) heavy calendar management, coordination of meetings, requests and assembly of briefing materials, arranging travel and expense report preparation. As a working professional, he/she will be expected to handle tasks independently and in a proactive manner. This position will also support the planning of select meetings and events.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide the full range of administrative support activities, including managing complex calendars, scheduling high-level, time-sensitive meetings, managing travel arrangements and completing expenses
  • Assist with meeting scheduling, conference room reservations, teleconference set-up, external individual visit to the site and associated meeting logistics
  • Complete quality work on a timely basis, using judgment to identify most urgent issues and working to resolve them immediately
  • Create and maintain distribution lists, organizational charts and maintain electronic files. Support projects and initiatives as needed
  • Manage meeting minutes, meeting follow-ups and expedite flow of work
  • Manage purchase orders through the system and track invoices
  • Take personal accountability for quality of own work that impacts the department and understands impacts of actions
  • Work well in self-directed environment, with minimal instruction, assumes increased levels of responsibility and takes accountability for decisions and outcomes
  • Provide back-up assistance in the absence of other administrative colleagues
  • Manage own time, professional development and prioritize workflow
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school degree required. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative experience
  • Previous experience that demonstrates ability to carry out administrative functions proficiently and to complete quality work on timely basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Proactive calendar management
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, with ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities and take initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure and under non-traditional working hours as needed
  • Strong organizational skills

The salary for this position ranges from $31.99 to $53.31 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
