Our Team Located at 978 Worcester Street in Wellesley, MA, the Sports Medicine team at Newton-Wellesley treats a large volume of sports-related injuries. Our specialists offer state-of-the art outpatient surgical treatment using regional anesthesia for conditions of the shoulder, knee, and ankle. We work with athletes at all levels, including: high school, college, professional athletes and weekend/recreational athletes. The Opportunity We are seeking a full time, 40- hour Administrative Assistant to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm. This role will be responsible for calendar/meeting management, event coordination, file management and project management to support the Chair of Orthopedics. This position requires excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail. While being the administrative assistant to our chair of Orthopedics, this role also consists of sitting with our front desk team coordinating check-in/check-out for patients. This practice also offers the ability to take on special projects that align with the individual employee's interests/goals!   • Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred; formal Administrative Assistant education/training/experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of office experience preferred; prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications required.
