The Business and Academic Support Services team in the School of International Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (SILLC) supports several academic units in the College of Humanities. The Administrative Associate position serves as the Curriculum Coordinator for several degree programs within SILLC and manages the SILLC Purchasing Card in addition to other duties. - Providing professional, efficient service to the Manager of Business & Finance, the SILLC Director, and the SILLC Department Heads.
- Managing curriculum for departments within SILLC. This involves common finals, course management (Catalog), freshman orientation, room and course scheduling, schedule of classes, student registration, syllabus, student course survey (SCS), UA online/distance campus, etc.
- Managing the school's purchasing card and being the purchasing agent for SILLC departments and programs, which involves receiving requests and necessary approvals and making purchases.
- Helping with PCard reconciliation such as filling out PCard Purchase Form and collecting paperwork such as receipts, agendas, attendee lists, etc.
- Keeping informed of, interpret, and apply pertinent rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth by the University in regard to PCard and provide updates to SILLC team regarding changes to UA PCard policies and procedures.
- Serving as a point of contact for scheduling of several conference rooms in the Learning Services Building.
- Coordinating UACares event for SILLC.
- Assisting with key audit to help endure all the keys, building, and offices, are accounted for.

- Very organized and proactive in meeting deadlines.
- Ability and interest in learning software associated with higher-education (financial and curriculum).
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of work related experience.
- Experience working on multiple projects and during high-volume peak times of year.
- Experience in MS Office such as Outlook (email and calendar), Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with cloud based services such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Box.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with Purchasing Card.
