Job Description

The Administrative Associate V in the Office of Student Global and Community Connections is a detail-oriented, proactive professional who excels in multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Under general supervision, the administrative associate provides highly advanced administrative support, record maintenance and assists with event and meeting coordination.

Position is full time, in-office, and located on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas with normal work hours of Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate.

Must be able to work remotely at the request of the University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

* Provides advanced administrative support and may maintain office schedules and appointments.

* Maintains front desk reception and visitor accommodations.

* Explains, applies, interprets, and communicates policies and procedures.

* Assists in the development of office procedures, including complex or specialized functions.

* Maintains office reference materials, including online office materials.

* May deliver, pick up, or receive documents, supplies, or materials.

* May assist management in the supervision of student workers.

* Handles complex confidential matters.

Record Maintenance:

* Maintains a variety of fiscal, administrative, study abroad, and academic records.

* Verifies, processes, and reviews forms, reports, tables, and other documents.

* Coordinates the maintenance of files, records, office supplies, or equipment.

Event and Meeting Coordination:

* Make arrangements for meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel.

* Assists in the planning of special events.

* May set up meetings, seminars, and other special events, including facilities, equipment, and food.

Minimum Requirements

Education - Highschool diploma or equivalent

Experience - Five years related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a high stress environment.

Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work independently once given a project.

Other Requirements:

Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

Commensurate with Experience. The target base pay range is $19.23 to $22.10 per hour and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
