DESCRIPTION
Under general direction performs a wide range of support to the Senior Director of Security, and security department staff.
Responsibilities include processing payments, reimbursements, purchase orders, and travel arrangements and travel reconciliation. Supports Security department and assists with current and new projects and programs. Additionally, resolves complex issues with vendors and supports office staff by ordering supplies and coordinating logistics for meetings. During meetings, takes accurate minutes and distributes them promptly; as well as, manage the Director's calendar and coordinate the scheduling and logistics for visitors. Participates in off-site conferences, meetings and events as assigned. Maintains and adheres to purchasing policies when ordering office supplies. Performs other assigned duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Three (3) years of relevant experience.
* Thorough knowledge in administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
* Requires good verbal and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, multi-task and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including diplomacy, tact, and flexibility.Requires interpersonal and work leadership skills to provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
* Experience with editing and proofreading documents, as well as writing clear, accurate correspondence, meeting minutes, and/or reports.
* Proven ability to interact with all organizational levels and to communicate effectively and professionally both in person and via phone. Strong phone etiquette.
* Works independently without direct supervision using initiative and resourcefulness. Organize tasks, prioritize and work effectively in an environment with multiple interruptions, while maintaining an organized work space.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working in a Healthcare setting.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $40,700 - $85,295 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $19.49 - $40.85
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
