Job Description:
Facility Services is the entity that maintains the buildings, utility systems and grounds for Louisiana State University. The Customer Service Center staff plays a vital role in coordinating the activities of the staff with the campus community. This position could be asked to work overtime as needed. This position is vital to support the LSU EOC. This position is responsible for the data integrity in the CMMS and workday system in regards to creating work orders, invoice processing, and asset management.
Job Duties:
Work Control: The position is responsible for assisting the department in administering and managing the Famis system and its various functions insuring the smooth workflow between departments. Accurate daily data input of information into the system. The Representative must be able to scan and electronically attach files containing additional information, such as specifications, diagrams, instructions, etc. to wor1< orders. -35%
Budgets: Works directly with the Accounting Department to review and update accounting reports within CMMS. -25%
Customer Service: Assist campus community by setting up work orders for crews and researching issues with in the system. Training fellow employees to use the CMMS. Query the CMMS database and generate reports as requested by the Facility Services Administration and Managers. -25%
Coordinates event set ups and updates Events calender. Other duties as assigned. -15%
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
NOTE:
Business or technical school training with less than completion will only be credited in six month increments. Similarly, college training will only be credited in 15 semester hour increments.
NOTE:
Any college hours or degree must be from an accredited college or university.
Special or Physical Qualifications:
In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event or an emergency or closure.
