Uses discretion and independent judgement on assigned projects and responsibilities to ensure smooth functioning of METM's operation. Provides strong support for METM team, faculty, and student needs.Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates administrative support functions. Develops and approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. Develops administrative objectives and strategies.
  • Participates in the planning and execution of administrative operations. Main communication for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating administrative support functions.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares itineraries for program faculty and staff located across the United States.
  • Creates and assists with faculty/staff program onboarding.
  • Develops and manages budget. Implements processes and procedures to keep expenses organized. Makes purchases in support of the program, tracks all program expenses and orders, and provides monthly financial reports.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of METM program events. This includes week-long residency week, recruiting events, faculty workshops, and other program events.
  • Develops and maintains program equipment inventory.
  • Formulates, interprets, and/or implements management policies or operating practices. Recommends guidelines, policies, rules, and regulations. Monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Performs special analyses and project summaries. Prepares and reviews operational and special reports. Makes recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What we need:*Minimum qualifications for Administrative Coordinator I:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience.
Minimum qualifications for Administrative Coordinator II:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of related experience.

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives with a high level of discretion and independent judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
