All employees are expected to work primarily physically within the State of Maryland.* ** *Essential Functions:* /Greenebaum Cancer Center:/ * Provide daily support of financial (FIN) and procurement (SSAS) operations for an administrative division or department. * Serve as ProCard holder for the University of Maryland Marlene & Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCCC) and as a back-up for all other UMGCCC ProCard holders. * Serve as UMB/UMMS foundation requisition initiator. * Serve as travel approver. * Serve as employee funding profile initiator. * Purchases in-store, office or school supplies as needed. /CURE Scholars Program:/ * Serve as Quantum transaction initiator and receiver on requisitions, non-PO check requests, debit memo transfers, and travel requests and approvals. * Functions as a purchasing agent utilizing the purchasing card with approved vendors. * Serve as ProCard holder for payment processing, reallocations, and reconciliations. * Serve as UMB foundation requisition initiator. * Serve as UMGCCC's financial point of contact for CURE administration in providing policy and procedural knowledge. Meets regularly with the Administrator and Operations Manager. * Performs other duties as assigned. *Education:*Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or other related field. *Experience:*Two (2) years of related experience in use and analysis of financial, administrative, procurement, or human resources management. *Other:*Related experience may be substituted for minimum education. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently.
