Assist the Director and Associate Director with General Program ActivitiesB. Manage Annual McNair Budget ProcessC. Assist in Report Preparation and RecordkeepingEssential Duties A. Assist Director with General Program Activities1. Assist with travel arrangements for McNair staff and guests2. Make group travel arrangements for national McNair conferences3. Assist with event planning and preparationB. Assist the Associate Director with McNair Annual Budget Process1. Assist with the internal budget entries and provide report to the Director and Associate Director2. Assist to process ePAFs, etc. as needed3. Process payment requests, journal entries, etc.4. Process monthly Pcard reports for McNair staff5. Prepare expense reports in Concur as needed6. Consult with finance office to ensure proper budgetary rules and guidelines are being followed according to grant 7. Supervise duties and assignments of office employed student worker(s)C. Assist in Report Preparation and Recordkeeping1. Assist with the annual APR report preparation 2. Ensure that all McNair financial transactions are saved in the McNair repository3. Assist with budget inquiries from ACU administrative offices and the USDOEProfessional Development Requirements A. Skills 1. Excellent communication skills2. Advanced computer skills3. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience2. Experience with budgeting, financial reporting and recordkeeping 3. Office management experience 4. Ability to multi-task while working in a moderately stressful environment3. Must be able to work within the Honors College as part of a team effortPhysical Demands A.
