Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Director of Civic House, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for organizing the House's overall activities, including programs and events related to Civic House initiatives; managing the office and the Civic House facility; processing and tracking financial activities; and supporting communications and website content.
This position consists of 20 hours per week at $20.00/hr.
This is a temporary position and has an end date of 12/27/24. This requires in-person work.
Job Description
Duties:- In coordination with the Provost Administrative Affairs' office, support timely processing of Civic House financial transactions.- Administer use of Civic House facility.- Oversee scheduling, policies and procedures for community service transportation.- Perform other duties in support of office's smooth functioning.- Coordinate logistics for a variety of Civic House initiatives (sample listed below) in collaboration with other staff.- Assists with making travel arrangements and producing expense reports- Assists with the coordination and planning of various department events- Provide support for daily operations- Business Office: weekly payroll preparation and processing, equipment contracts/repairs, facilities requests, office supply maintenance, service contracts- Financial responsibilities: create PO's, troubleshooting, following up on purchasing requests- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
High School Grad/GE Degree, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
This is a temporary non-exempt part-time position.
