Other duties may be assigned.Always greets all customers/vendors via phone or in-person in a professional manner. Manages day-to-day customer service by performing the following duties. Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures and ensure coworkers do also.
- Reception and phone duties.
- Prepare and enter invoices.
- Process and enter receiving records.
- Customer order retrieval and data entry.
- Customer service duties including samples request and quoting.
- Addresses complaints concerning defective material received, issuing, and following up on RGA's.
- Expedite purchase orders in conjunction with purchasing and maintain weekly exception log.
- Take inventory/track usage of office supplies.
- Completes special projects assigned from management.
- Administrative duties such as preparing memos, postings and letters.
- Assist HR with company events.
- Clerical duties as needed.
- Filing duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Run company errands as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Superior data entry skills.
- Excellent general office practices.
- Math and use of calculators.
- Able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Great prioritization skills.
- Phone and reception etiquette.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Microsoft Office and ERP/Company software.
- Present self in a courteous and professional manner when communicating with vendors, customers, and personnel.
- Maintain professional appearance and positive demeanor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years in an office environment and 1-3 years in a customer service role desired.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable experience desired.
- High School Diploma.
LANGUAGE SKILLSExcellent communication, reading, writing and comprehension skills.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages.
