Job DescriptionJob Overview: This position is for a recent law school graduate. It is a one-year term beginning in August/September following graduation and sitting for the July Bar exam and includes a competitive salary and benefits. The Fellow will work with all members of TriHealth's in-house Legal TeamJob Requirements: May 2024 graduate of an accredited law school, with strong academic performance Prefer candidates interested in pursuing a career in health law with coursework appropriately aligned and prior job experience in healthcare law or other related industry corporate legal departments and demonstrated professional development activities a plusJob Responsibilities: Research legal issues related to general health care law and regulatory issues; Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts including but not limited to vendor purchasing; agreements, service agreements, employment agreements, lease agreements, etc.; Attend legal and operational strategy meetings; Assist in reviewing and revising corporate policies; Shadow attorneys during conference calls and meetings; and Other duties as assignedOther Job-Related Information: Strong legal research and writing skills, self-motivated with proven work ethic, accountability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and demeanor, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment as a valued team member, as well as, working well independently to achieve goals. Exceptional time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize work requests from multiple attorneys to meet necessary deadlines with strong attention to detail. Professional demeanor and behavior with the ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a can do attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
