Position Summary
The Talent Management Administrative Lead will oversee office and administrative support for the Talent Management Department, including administrative support for all HR functions and processes, as well as provide hands-on administrative support. This position serves to oversee front desk operations, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance with HR protocols, and quality customer service. Primary areas of responsibility include records management, front office coverage and general office administrative support. In addition, the employee provides direct administrative support to the TM Director as needed.
Required Education and Experience
* Prefer Associate's in human resources, business, or office administration or two years of human resources or business administration course work.
* Three years of office administrative support experience, including at least one year of office supervisory experience and at least one year of administrative support in an HR Department. Administrative support experience should include experience with employee records management, front office coverage, report preparation and excel expertise. An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* General knowledge and understanding of all HR functions and HR operations in an organization; Basic understanding of employment laws and HR operations; Knowledge of Library of Virginia records retention and disposition schedules for Personnel records preferable; Knowledge of federal and state regulations and compliance standards relevant to employment, including I-9s, background checks, TB tests, and records management.
* Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to design and work with memos, letters/letterhead, charts, tables, graphs, spreadsheets, etc.; Excellent spelling and grammar knowledge with ability to accurately and efficiently proofread and correct correspondence and documents.
* Ability to organize and manage hard copy and electronic personnel and human resources related records for easy retrieval of files, data and to ensure confidentiality, as well as compliance with pertinent regulations; Ability to audit records to ensure compliance with all pertinent federal, state and licensing regulations and guidelines.
* Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver's license. May be required to travel to different Horizon work sites during the day based on operational needs or provide admin support at other locations. Regular attendance at trainings and Horizon meetings may require travel to a variety of Horizon sites; Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holidays, etc.) as needed.
