Administrative Liaison - Call Center- Rensselaer, NY - FT

What you will do:
The Administrative Liaison - New Patient Coordinator - is dedicated resource to support new patient appointment access.
* Process new patient appointment requests for Primary Care Practices (IM/FM)
* Point of contact for post-hospital/ED discharge appointment requests for patients with no PCP
* Manage internal patients' transitions resulting from PCP departure from practice
* Facilitate internal transfer for patients who are aging out from our Pediatric division
* Appointment confirmation calls
* EPIC scheduling work queues & waitlist
* Good Faith Estimates
* Medical Record Requests
* New patient appointment conformation calls
What you will need:
* Associate degree in Administrative Medical Secretary or similar major or 5 years of related experience.
* Surgical scheduling experience highly preferred
* Familiar with physician's office procedures
* Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
* Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, excel, graphics.
* HS Diploma / GED Required
* Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Pay Range: $20.20 - $26.50
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
