Provide administrative assistance for the radio station's operations, as well as its membership program.
* Serve as front office staff, greet visitors to the station and field calls from the public.
* Organize and maintain office files and records.
* Oversee traffic for radio station.
* Prepare information packets for meetings.
* Design and implement membership communication including solicitations, monthly newsletters, as well as other digital media for members and prospects.
* Coordinate and assist in the preparation of Membership Drive materials.
* Maintain and update online membership information.
* Oversee premium delivery for Membership Drive.
* Maintain and monitor membership tracking and information system.
* Serve as Pledge Captain during Membership Drives.
* Working with Station Manager, develop donor retention strategies.
* Assist and/or participate in College-related functions.
* Perform other related duties incidental to the work herein described.
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 6-12 months of professional work experience required.
* Experience working with volunteers.
* Familiarity with the public broadcasting fundraising process.
* Excellent oral communication and writing skills required.
* Basic computer skills required with experience in Microsoft Office Excel.
* Must be flexible to adjust to changing work conditions and demands including working various hours and schedules that may include evenings and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Generally, working in a traditional climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods.
* Some walking, standing, and bending required, and the ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 25 pounds.
* Work environment can be stressful at times in dealing with a wide variety of challenges and deadlines.
