The Administrative Monitor is responsible for the supervision of the monitoring staff and any administrative duties deemed necessary by the Director to assist in the overall running of the facility.Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a supervisory role with the ability to operate office equipment.Requirements
- Maintain a daily review of accountability procedures and documentation to ensure compliance by monitoring staff.
- Supervise and review all Resident Monitor accomplished duties.
- Report any unusual circumstances, concerns, or changes in Resident Monitor work habits to the Director.
- Submit all assigned reports and records in a timely manner.
- Maintain security and offender accountability within the facility.
- Supervise urine surveillance documentation and procedures as conducted by monitoring staff. Responsible for completion and distribution of the monthly urine report.
- Responsible for the training of all new and current Resident Monitors.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with organizations, groups, individuals, and other community sources. Ensure proper documentation of appointments and utilization of these agencies.
- Oversee orientation of new offenders in accordance with policy and procedures, including room assignments and disbursement of linens.
- Supervise and facilitate the maintenance, up-keep and general appearance of the center, perimeter, and equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of center supplies.
- Assure offender accountability by proper sign in/out procedures.
- Responsible for auditing meal sign up sheets, and ordering and delivery (to residents) of meals. Also ensure all meals meet dietary requirements and temperatures as outlined in approved menus and Department of Health guidelines.
- Responsible for running assigned shift to ensure safety, accountability and well being of all staff and offenders.
